Holding Strong with ABC in these Difficult Times

There is no dodging it.  It’s a tough time for the US economy and with talk of a recession many experts site that now is the time to join a trade association and network like there’s no tomorrow.  They also recommend that now is the time to expand your job skills through training opportunities.  That is why I want to personally thank you for reestablishing your membership with the East Tennessee Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors.

ABC is the largest merit shop construction trade association in the United States.  Founded nearly 33 years ago, the East TN Chapter is a strong voice for merit ship contractors in the State of Tennessee.  With management education and services for your employees, ABC offers the courses you need to advance their skills.

As a member of the ETN Chapter, you can attend multiple networking events throughout the year.  These events include membership meetings, award dinners, educational seminars, golf and sporting clay tournaments and more.  To assist you with business development, there is a variety of awards available through ABC.  Through accreditation in the Accredited Quality Contractor Program, the STEP and Chapter Safety Awards, or national and local recognition in the Excellence in Construction Awards competitions, you have numerous opportunities for recognition in the industry.

Where some see recession others see opportunities, and rising to any challenge doesn’t just happen; you need to take steps towards it.  Thank you for investing in us and staying a part of the most powerful and influential Merit Shop in America!
